Energypac has recently inaugurated G-Gas Satellite Plant 101 through a virtual program to meet the country’s increasing demand for LPG on March 28, 2022, Rupganj, Narayanganj.
Dr. Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, BB, Hon’ble Adviser to the Prime Minister, Power, Energy & Mineral Resources Affairs, Prime Minister’s Office, Dhaka, graced the inauguration G-Gas Satellite Plant 101 as the honorable chief guest. From Energypac Power Generation Ltd. Engineer Rabiul Alam, CIP, Chairman; Humayun Rashid, CIP, Managing Director & CEO; other members of the Board of Directors; Naweed Rashid, Chief Strategist and Abu Sayed Raza, Chief Business Officer (G-Gas LPG) were present at the event.
Dr. Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury said, LPG is playing an important role in fuel diversification and I would like to thank Energypac and G-Gas for their contribution in this sector. He emphasized the need for joint ventures between public and private sectors to ensure future energy security through the development of talent and research.
Regarding the inauguration, Humayun Rashid, said, Energypac is committed to decentralizing capacity and ensuring the convenient and continuous supply of LPG to customers’ doorsteps through our most diversified distribution network. Hence, we have just completed a virtual inauguration ceremony of G-Gas Satellite Plant 101 in Rupganj, Narayanganj. We are privileged to launch this plant in the month of independence. We hope that G-Gas will continue to meet the increasing demand for LPG in Bangladesh.”
To meet the growing energy demand LPG has become an integral part of our civic life and realizing the fact G-Gas started its operation at Khulna back in 2017. Following this G-Gas has expanded its operations by setting up its Satelite Plant 101 in Rupganj to strengthen its distribution network and G-Gas aims to diversify its distribution network more in near future. Also, G-Gas has its own LPG carrying ship “MT-G-GAS 101” with a capacity of 600 MT to make LPG transportation even safer and faster.
